DIPHTHERIA VACCINATION and GIVING VITAMIN A

Diphtheria is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Corynebacterium diphtheria, which primarily infects the throat and upper airways, and produces a toxin affecting other organs.
Therefore, the government held a diphtheria vaccination program through schools. At JAC Sherwood, the third diphtheria vaccination was carried out on September 22, 2018 which is carried out in conjunction with the program of giving vitamin A for children aged 12 – 59 months. (Ms. Rachel)
